I am proud to say I have worked for the Australian clothing brand Bardot for almost 4 years, a most unlikely occurrence coming from a member of the generation that is dubbed to never hold down a long term position. I put it down to working with the finest group of ladies everyday on the job and being able to enjoy two great loves of my life, fashion and socialising. What other job would make me happier than one where I am surrounded by clothes that are directly on trend with the season designs AND I get to meet people all day everyday where I am chatting and sharing my knowledge on what’s hot right now. Don’t get me wrong this is no boutique ‘counter queen’ job, I pride myself and my colleagues on our hard working ethics and high standards of customer service. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure all of the girls are on trend and ready to provide ‘styling’ not just ‘serving’, more than I have experienced at any other employer. The owner and business director behind Bardot always compares us to the sales consultants at the Chanel design house. The sales consultants he speaks of are flown all around the world because the service and styling they have to offer are simply priceless (dream job!) Their knowledge is flawless and when you purchase a Chanel suit you are also purchasing the sales consultant (and the brand of course) Where is this level of service in Australia ? Well I know from personal experience that you have a good chance of finding it with in the walls of a Bardot store. Minus the expensive price tag you can still get an impeccable level of ‘personalized’ service you just need to know where to go.

This sounds so good! I'm applying to Bardot at the moment and was wondering if they would be a good employer :) I love that they give the training required but not often given :)
